Barack Obama - President of the USA

Clinton Calls For Unification

Hilary Clinton told delegates at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night that it was time for the party to unite. The Senator reminded everyone that they were all on the same side and hence should all come together under Obama. She told the delegates that they should vote for the Illinois Senator even if they had originally supported her because the bigger goal was defeating a Republican campaign that is way too similar to the Bush administration.

Clinton continues to try and sway her supporters towards Obama as the Democrats and Republicans are almost tied in the polls. Many of her followers are still upset with Obama over the way he has handled things with her and she hopes to forget the past and look towards the future as so many Democrats are trying to do.

There have been numerous attacks by Democrats against McCain and Bush in recent days and it is likely to continue. Obama supporters are calling for voters to forget the political ways of the past (which they believe McCain embodies) and instead move to the future with Obama.
