Barack Obama - President of the USA

Obama responds to worries

Several Democrats have recently revealed their unease with Obama and whether he would be able to hold up in what is expected to be a brutal general election campaign. The critics were afraid that Obama was too soft on McCain due to the Republican’s aggressive and attacking campaign. They have also been wary about the message of hope that Obama offers because it isn’t very specific. There have also been doubts about Obama and how high the economy is on his priority list.

Ironically, all of the things that are scaring some Democrats now are the same things that made them like Obama in the primaries.

Today, the Illinois Senator announced to a group of his followers that he would address those concerns by being more aggressive against McCain and focusing more on the key issue of this election. Obama also tried convincing his audience that the Republican’s negative campaign won’t work in this election and that he will prevail.
